Spanish frisée from Cuadraspania is consistently top quality, though hot weather made the price creep up in May. Lovely mixed baby leaf salad (Mesclum) in 1kg boxes.

Watercress flowers for 2-3 weeks in June before getting back to normal in July. Great French broad beans and green beans on offer, as well as white and green asparagus aplenty. Good quality blette (or Swiss chard) is from our trusted family supplier Tremblay, who also deliver us pink and mixed-coloured breakfast radishes and spring onions. Root veg is now coming to an end. There are still some Ratte potatoes (now from Israel) and French Jerusalem artichokes, but parsley root has finished. Banana shallots are finishing and yellow Grelot onions have finished, but white silverskin will start soon.
