Tardivo

A high-end radicchio with its wonderful curled leaves. This is a late variety, available from around November to March.

Precoce

This variety arrives earlier than Tardivo. Available from around October to May.

Castelfranco

Possibly the most elegant of raddichios with its speckled leaves. Available from around September to May.

Tondo

Round radicchio is the most common variety and available all round. It is also grown in the UK. Available all year round.

Istriano

This is rare and a small production. Available around November to March.

Rosa

Very fashionable with chefs on account of its colour. Available around November to March.
